State police are seeking witnesses who may have seen a red 2010 Toyota Corolla in the area early Saturday morning prior to a fatal accident.

Tiffany Renee Boddie, 29, of Franklin, was involved in the accident about 12:39 a.m. along Route 258 in Southampton County. The vehicle ran off the road and struck a telephone pole, according to Virginia State Police.

Boddie was taken to Southampton Memorial Hospital, where she later died of her injuries.

Virginia State Police is asking anyone who saw the vehicle in the Franklin, Courtland, Southampton or Suffolk areas Friday night or Saturday morning to call 562-3004.
