SUFFOLK — Alfred C. Bosselman, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 18, 2014. He was the son of the late Willie B. and Norman W. Bosselman.

Alfred was a member of Providence United Methodist Church, and a lifelong third generation farmer. Through the years he served on many farming and agriculture committees.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara H. Bosselman; son, David Bosselman and wife, Audrey Page, of Suffolk; daughter, Amy Muller and husband, Bill, of Glen Allen; grandsons, Brian and Hunter Bosselman and Thomas and Daniel Muller.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at 11 a.m. in Western Branch Cemetery, by the Rev. Garland K. Hines. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St. Suffolk, VA 23434.
