A Suffolk mother was arrested Wednesday after being indicted on charges of cruelty and injuries to children, abuse and neglect of children with reckless disregard and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Police learned in April that Tasharra Chanelle Wilson, 21, was smoking marijuana in the house with her two young children present, city spokeswoman Diana Klink said.

Her children have been placed in the care of a family member.
