A Suffolk man was arrested Friday following an indictment on 27 counts related to the inappropriate touching of a female juvenile.

John David Street, 52, of the 700 block of Turlington Road, faces charges including aggravated sexual battery, indecent liberties with a child and abduction with intent to defile.

The female victim, who is known to the subject, reported the incidents occurred from 2001 through 2003 at a residence in the 1800 block of Mountainside Avenue in Suffolk, according to a city press release.

The investigation is ongoing.
