Geraldine Norma Harrison, 89, entered into eternal rest on Monday, Oct. 27, 2014, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Feb. 19, 1925, to the late George Haynes and Gertrude Carlye in Philadelphia, Pa. She later relocated to Suffolk.

Geraldine graduated from the Philadelphia Academy of Beauty and Cosmetology in 1955.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Harrison.

Geraldine is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Renee Martin; son-in-law, Theodore Martin; grandson, Jason Martin; special friends, Winifred Boyd, William Meech, John Onderline, Judy Kitt and Janet Harden.

Ms. Harrison will be on view from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and a celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. today, Thursday, at T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home Chapel.
