Mrs. Georgie Mae Davis, of Chesapeake, peacefully departed this earthly life on Dec. 7, 2014.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, Dec. 12, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the Metropolitan Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A remembrance wake will be held on Thursday, Dec. 11, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the church.
The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Cynthia Davis Barrett, at 4640 Captain Carter Circle, Chesapeake (David Mills Section). Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
