“I am very appreciative of this opportunity to help members of our community live longer, healthier and more active lives,” Bonner said. “I am passionate about supporting the American Heart Association because heart disease has touched multiple members of my own family as well as my QVC family. The American Heart Association is one of QVC’s signature charities, and I am so very proud to do my part leading 2015 Heart Chase Suffolk.”

HeartChase Suffolk offers participants a creative way to explore the city, have a good time and contribute to an important cause. Teams meet at Game Central on the morning of the event and use the HeartChase App to find and complete checkpoint challenges. Each challenge is a five-minute game that will get hearts racing and earn team points. Teams race to complete as many challenges as possible before time runs out, and the team with the most points will be crowned the champion.

This year, HeartChase Suffolk raised more than $30,000 and was the No. 9 HeartChase in the country. Next year’s event will take place on May 30.
