LaKeysha Jenkins, a board-certified nurse practitioner, has joined the staff at Eagle Harbour Medical Associates.

Jenkins received a bachelor of science in nursing from Hampton University, where she was inducted into the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International.

She earned her master of science in nursing with an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner concentration from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.

Before joining Bon Secours, Jenkins worked as a registered nurse in the medical intensive care unit for a Veterans Affairs medical center.

Her experience as a registered nurse also includes post-anesthesia care, surgical intensive care, pediatric intensive care and operating rooms.

Jenkins is a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
