Updated postseason basketball information

Details have become firm for public and private school postseason basketball plans that have been repeatedly altered due to inclement weather.

The King’s Fork High School-hosted girls’ and boys’ Ironclad Conference tournaments are set to resume today, with a slight adjustment to the timing of the girls’ games:

 

Girls’ semifinals

2 p.m. – No. 4 Heritage vs. No. 1 Phoebus

4 p.m. – No. 3 Nansemond River vs. No. 2 King’s Fork

Boys’ final

6 p.m. – No. 2 King’s Fork vs. No. 1 Heritage

 

The girls’ final will be Monday at 6 p.m.

 

The girls’ and boys’ Region 4A South tournaments have the following adjusted schedule:

March 3 – first round

March 5 – second round

March 7 – finals

If NSA won, it will play at 3 p.m. today in the state championship game in Charlottesville.
