Joseph Thomas Bemory died Feb. 18, 2015.

Joseph was a native of Suffolk. Born to the late Roliff H. Bemory and Idonia E. Bemory, he graduated from East Suffolk High School in 1962.

Joseph was predeceased by his wife, Rose C. Bemory; three brothers, James H. Bemory, William M. Beale, and Fred D. Beale; and one sister, Mildred B. Banks.

He leaves to cherish his memory four daughters, Lolita Felton, of Massachusetts, Vandetta Cunningham, of Pennsylvania, Roszita Fields and Vonzena Alford, of New Jersey; 10 grandchildren; five sisters, Marion B. Wright, Carol B. Diggs (Rev. Henry), Janice B. Howell (Donald), Mary B. Duncan and Allie B. Colbert, of New York; two sisters-in-law, Renate Beale, of Kentucky, and Jewel Bemory, of Suffolk; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Feb. 26, 2015, at Liberty Baptist Church, Elizabeth, N.J. Professional services were provided by Perry Funeral Home Inc., Newark, N.J. Interment was held in Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside, N.J.
