Mingle on Main next week

The fourth annual Mingle on Main Street in downtown Suffolk is back for another installment next Thursday.
Called an “outdoor tradeshow” by the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, which hosts the networking event, it will be held at the Suffolk Visitor Center Pavilion.
About 20 exhibitors will be at the event, which will also include finger food, adult beverages, giveaways and fun.
“Companies can market a product or service to the attendees,” said Diane Raihle, senior account representative for the Chamber. “It’s a fun evening to get to know your Suffolk friends and Suffolk neighbors.”
Hundreds have attended the event in past years. It is $5 for members and $10 for prospective members, and advance registration for general admission is not required.
The fun kicks off at 4:30 p.m. and lasts until 7.
“It’s a nice networking event,” Raihle said. “The exhibitors are not necessarily just from the Suffolk area, but it seems that most of them are.”
