7-Eleven robbery suspect sought

Suffolk police are asking for help apprehending a man who robbed a North Suffolk 7-Eleven at gunpoint early Saturday morning.
The robbery took place at 2:53 a.m. at the convenience store, which is located in the 6400 block of Hampton Roads Parkway, city spokesman Tim Kelley stated in a press release.
While in the store, the suspect brandished a gun at the clerk, demanded money from the cash register and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash..
The only description of the suspect is that he was a black male and is believed to be in his 20s.
