The following area residents have received their degrees from Western Governors University.

The university held its 28th semi-annual commencement ceremony in Orlando in February and celebrated the graduation of more than 6,700 graduates.

William Dean of Suffolk received his Master of Business Administration degree in information technology management.

Levi Williams of Suffolk received his Master of Science degree in information security and assurance.

Wortley Beechboard of Windsor received her Bachelor of Science degree in business — human resource management.

Ellen Peterson of Windsor received her Master of Arts degree in science education for grades five through nine.
