Police were dispatched to the Applebee’s in the 100 block of Lake View Parkway just after midnight on July 2 because a patron was refusing to pay her tab and arguing with staff, according to city spokeswoman Diana Klink.

When officers arrived, employees pointed them toward a vehicle that was leaving the parking lot. An officer stopped the vehicle, a 2004 Ford Excursion, and found there were 12 people in the vehicle, including two who are the woman’s children.

Following an investigation, warrants for driving under the influence of alcohol with child and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor were issued and served on Danielle Dawn Harrell, 27, Klink said. Harrell was also issued summonses for defective equipment and three counts of transporting a child without a child restraint device.

During inventory of her property, prescription pills that were not in a prescription bottle were found, Klink added. The pills were collected and sent to the lab.
