Fourth SYAA vandal sentenced

The fourth of five people charged in an October 2014 crime spree has been sentenced for his Suffolk charges.

Like some of his co-defendants, Blane Sebastian Washington Jr., 25, was sentenced to two and a half years on the charges. He pleaded guilty to destruction of property with intent, larceny and statutory burglary and destruction of property. Circuit Court Judge L. Wayne Farmer handed down the sentence.

Brothers Toby D. Underhill, 30, and Aaron M. Underhill, 25, each received two years and six months to serve on their charges. Noah C. Rivera received two years and five months. Stephanie Marie Drames, 33, remains to be sentenced on Oct. 19.

The five caused more than $100,000 worth of damage to Sleepy Hole Golf Course and the Suffolk Youth Athletic Association last October in a multi-night crime spree.

All four sentenced so far have been ordered to pay $100,745 in restitution.
