Robbery suspects sought

Suffolk police are seeking the public’s assistance in an early-morning robbery that happened Thursday.

The robbery happened at 3:16 a.m. at the 7-Eleven in the 6400 block of Hampton Roads Parkway, according to a city press release.

An employee called 911 and said that two black male subjects entered the store, and at least one displayed a weapon. They demanded money and fled on foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of money. There were no injuries.

One subject was described as wearing a long-sleeved white shirt wrapped around his head with dreads, black jeans and a black shirt. The other individual had on a black do-rag, beanie hat, black shorts and tennis shoes.

Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or text the keyword SPDVATIP and the tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Tipsters never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
