There were no injuries in a vehicle fire on Route 58 eastbound on Monday evening.

Suffolk Police and Suffolk Fire & Rescue personnel responded to the call at 7:37 p.m. The driver had pulled the four-door Oldsmobile sedan to the side of the road before evacuating it, according to a city press release.

The car was fully engulfed in flames upon arrival of fire and police personnel, according to the release.

The right lane and the entrance to the weigh scales were blocked while crews cleaned up the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
