Air Force Airman Adam B. Toy graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Toy is the son of Wendy Toy and Joseph Toy Jr., of Folcroft, Pa.; brother of Ethan Toy, of Corolla, N.C., Jared Toy, of Suffolk, and Seth Toy, of Elizabeth City, N.C.; and grandson of Joan Dever and nephew of Cindy Dever, of Folcroft, Pa. He is also the brother of Aaron Toy.

The airman graduated in 2013 from Cornerstone High School, Haverford, Pa.
