The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ volleyball team defeated host Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School on Thursday evening — 25-12, 25-16, 25-14.

Leading the way for the Lady Saints in the conference win was junior outside hitter Livi Bono, who had 11 kills, seven aces and 13 digs, junior libero Logan Harrell, who had five aces, four kills and 12 digs, and junior setter Nicole Wright, who had three aces and 33 assists.

Nansemond-Suffolk (18-7, 3-0) hosts Peninsula Catholic High School on Tuesday, another conference matchup.
