Christopher Wayson Fly recently earned his Eagle Scout Award with Boy Scout Troop 24 of Wakefield.

Fly has been a Scout since the first grade and has completed all the ranks of Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and earned 45 merit badges.

For his Eagle project, he renovated an amphitheater that had become overgrown and neglected. It is now ready to be used by the Scouts and the community.

Fly is a senior at Southampton Academy and is the son of Eric and Carol Fly of Wakefield and the grandson of Jean Fly of Suffolk and Emma Jean Brady of Smithfield.
