NSA baseball improves to 11-1

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s baseball team continues to cruise during the 2016 season. The Saints’ latest win came with a 12-2 final score as they took on visiting North Cross School on Friday.
NSA senior Sam Neal was 4-for-4 with a triple, sophomore Robby Tew was 2-for-2 with a triple and seniors Cole Williams, Dominick Claxton, Patrick Crossman and sophomore Garrett Reams each had two hits.
Saints junior James Mullin got the win on the mound.
On Thursday, Nansemond-Suffolk hit the road to face Norfolk Collegiate School in a conference game and won 13-7.
NSA sophomore Caden Anselm recorded the victory on the mound, making him 3-0 this season.
Offensively, Claxton went 3-for-4, contributing to the Saints’ collection of 13 total hits in the game.
Nansemond-Suffolk (11-1, 2-0) resumes its Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools schedule on Tuesday when it visits Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School.
