Nicholas Schwegel of South Eastern Virginia Aquatics and Isle of Wight Academy has made a commitment to swim for Virginia Tech.

Schwegel is a U.S.A. Junior National qualifier in the 500 free SCY, 200 fly SCY, 400 IM SCY, 200 free LCM, and 400 IM LCM. His versatility in the water could make him a great addition to the Hokie squad.

Schwegel began swimming at the age of 5 for his local summer league team, but he has been swimming year-round for only about six years.
