Saints make All-State teams

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s Kelly Hogan and Lindsay Knierbein have been selected to the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association’s All-State team.

NSA’s girls’ basketball team enjoyed a solid season this year, finishing the regular season as the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools champs and earning an automatic berth in the state tournament.

With another successful season, accolades continue to pour in for the Lady Saints.

Hogan landed on the All-State first team, while Knierbein was named to the second team. Both players were first-team All-Conference selections as well.

Hogan led her team in scoring and rebounding. Knierbein was second in scoring and rebounding.

NSA finished with a record of 15-11 and lost to Seton School in the first round of the VISAA Division II state tournament.
