One lane of Town Point Road will be closed Thursday while sanitary sewer maintenance takes place.

HRSD will perform scheduled maintenance near the intersection of Town Point Road at Judah Lane from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, according to a press release from HRSD.

During that time, the northbound lane of Town Point Road will be closed at Judah Lane. Motorists will have access to Town Point Road at a reduced capacity, the press release stated.

The work is weather dependent and subject to change or require additional time, according to the release.

The work is required as part of the Environmental Protection Agency Wet Weather Consent Decree for sanitary sewer overflows.
