Provost will coordinate neighborhood development

Outgoing Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority Development Director Theresa Provost will join city hall next month.

During the SRHA's board meeting Tuesday night, Provost announced that she's been hired as the city's development coordinator in the Neighborhood Development Department. Provost's last day with the housing authority is Dec. 6 and she will step aboard the city on Dec. 16.

Provost commended the SRHA for the "strides we have made in Orlando and Hall Place."

During the latter part of her 13-year stint with the agency, Provost played a key role in facilitating neighborhood conservation plans in both communities in partnership with the city's neighborhood development department.
