Lakeland field hockey game to be played today

Rain caused Monday's Lake-land-Granby Eastern regional tournament field hockey game to be cancelled. The game will be played at 1 p.m. today (weather permitting) at Bayside High School.

Saint athletes named to all-TCIS team

Nansemond-Suffolk Acade-my tennis players Caroline Parker and Jessica Rabil were recently named to the All-TCIS team. Parker, a junior, made the First Team All-Conference, while Rabil, a junior, made the Second Team.

Brandon Winslow was the only Nansemond-Suffolk player named to the All-TCIS volleyball team. The senior, in his first year of playing volleyball, made the Second Team All-Confer-ence.

Clippers take first win of season from Hampton

Teron Bell scored 13 points and Frankie Epps eight as the Lake Kennedy Clippers held off host Olde Hampton 64-56 on Sunday afternoon. The win moved the Clippers to 1-1.
