Margaret C. Brown

Margaret Causey Brown, 62, died Friday, Aug. 29, 2003, in Suffolk.

Born on March 11, 1941, in Suffolk, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Campbell Causey Jr., and predeceased by a brother, James Campbell Causey III.

Ms. Brown was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Obici Hospital Auxiliary, and the Suffolk Historical Society.

She originated the Suffolk 4-H Equine Club, and for 25 years conducted 4-H horse-related programs on the local, state and regional levels.

Ms. Brown had retired as secretary/treasurer of Frohman Brothers Inc.

Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Jordan Brown Klages, and husband, David, of Suffolk; a grandson, Joshua Klages; a granddaughter, Jordan Klages; four nieces, Elizabeth C. Burgess, Carolyn C. Hope, Anne C. Burke, and Jeanne C. Miller; six great-nieces; one great-nephew; and many devoted friends.

The memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. in St. Paul's Episcopal Church b the Rev. Vance H. Mann III, with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
