Six Saints make All-State

The following members of the Nansemond-Suffolk Acad-emy football team that went undefeated in TCIS competition for a second consecutive season were recently named to the Virginia Independent Schools Football Association Division II All-State team:

First Team:

Matt Tuttle - offensive line

Hunter Richardson - tight end

Ryan Johnson - running back

Charles Persons - linebacker

Second Team:

Josh Gruber - defensive line

Peyton Palmer - defensive back

Drag Racers Assoc. to meet Jan. 6

The National Drag Racers Association meets at 7 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month in the fellowship hall of Calvary Baptist Church, 545 Turlington Road. It is open to all individuals who have an interest in drag racing. For additional information contact Collis or Anna Bryant at 934-2962.
