Grover shines at Sunshine State

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy student Barton Grover took part in the United States Tennis Association boy's 14-and-under National Open Championships in Lutz, Fla. Feb. 14-19. Grover opened the meet by defeating Joey Rossi of Sarasota, then fell to Joshua Scholl of Pompano Beach. He defeated Nicholas Smith of Tierra Verde and Jarrett Yanoff of Boca Raton in consolation rounds.
