Staff report
Nansemond River defeated Deep Creek on Tuesday and Oscar Smith on Wednesday, upping their record to 13-2, 7-1. The Lady Warriors weren't so lucky, falling to both the Lady Hornets and Lady Tigers. Marissa Facey (below) had four points in River's 53-43 loss to Oscar Smith on Wednesday. The teams will return to action against Western Branch on Friday, with the Lady Warriors remaining in Suffolk and the boys team heading to Chesapeake.
