Geraldine "Gerri" Christopher Saylor, 55, of 156 E. Academy St. Asheboro, N.C. died Wednesday, March 19, 2003, in Randolph Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was a former resident of Suffolk.

Surviving are two sons, Troy C. Peirce, and his wife, Patricia, and Damon M. Peirce, and his fiancee, Amy, all of Sioux City, Iowa; four grandchildren, Cameron, Riley, Avery, and Logan, also of Sioux City; mother, Mary Graves York of Asheboro; sister, Carolyn Tayloe, and her husband, Richard, of Suffolk; brother, Neal S. Christopher, and his wife, Linda, of Suffolk; and several nephews and a niece.

Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Asheboro, is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Suffolk.
