Scenes from recent local girls' soccer action

The Elizabeth River Soccer Club secured first place in the Hampton Roads Soccer Association Division II U-17 league with a 4-3 victory over Beach FC on Sunday at Nansemond-Suffolk Academy. Nicole Klee scored two goals in the victory, and Heather Proffit and Amber Shaffer knocked in one each.
