Two NFL games today

Published Thursday, November 27, 2003

Green Bay 30, Detroit 7. If the Pack plays half as well as they did in their whomping of San Francisco last week, they'll be well on their way to a win early. A win today will tie them with Minnesota if the Vikings lose in St. Louis Sunday (the Rams haven't fallen at home yet this year). Ahman Green, Najeh Davenport and Tony Fisher embarrassed the 49ers' defense last weekend, and the Lions' defense has all the purr of a newborn kitten.

Dallas 20, Miami 13. Both teams have momentum, but the Cowboys' goes back a bit farther than last week; their win over Carolina was just the icing on the cake. Jay Fiedler made a fine return in helping his team to a comeback win over Washington, but the 'Skinny defense is a far cry from the Dallas defenders.
