Vicky Joe Reid, 36, a native of Norfolk and a resident at 2215 Florida Ave., Suffolk, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, at home.

She was a member of Upper Room Holiness Church.

Survivors include her husband, George Alexanda Reid Jr. of Suffolk; seven daughters, Crystal Meadows, Casaundra Scellato and Cayla Butler, all of Tyner, N.C.; and Charisa Reid, Shaquana Reid, Shanice Reid, and Alexandria Reid, all of Suffolk; three sons, Corey Buttler of Tyner; and Calvin Reid and George Reid III, both of Suffolk; her mother, Carole Dail of Tyner; her father, Joseph Everett Scellato Jr. of Tyner; her stepfather, Preston Dail of Tyner; three brothers, Eddie Scellato, Joseph Scellato, both of Tyner; and Gary Scellato of Virginia Beach; grandmother, Hilda Scellato of Norfolk; and one grandson, Blake Meadows of Tyner.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at New Mt. Joy Family Worship Center with Elder Fletcher Reid presiding. Burial will be in Carver Cemetery.

Viewing will take place from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Pastor Fletcher Reid's Church.

Gates County Funeral Home in North Carolina is in charge.
