Alice Louise Johns, 70, of the 1000 block of Old Somerton Road, passed away on Dec. 23, 2004.

She was the daughter of the late Edward A. Jones and Mary Elizabeth Forehand Jones. She was also predeceased by three brothers, Elisha Edward, Melvin and George Jones.

She was a waitress with Bunny's Restaurant and a member of First Pentecostal Chuch of Suffolk.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Brown and husband, Robert, of Suffolk, Wanda Carothers and husband, Bruce, of Portsmouth, and Katherine Rocha of Suffolk; son, William H. Jones and wife, Connie, of Virginia Beach; sisters, Margaret King of Windsor, Mary Wishon of Chesapeake, and Irma Thompson of Windsor; brothers, Ray Jones of Claremont, Delma Jones of Boykins, and Wesley Jones of Corapeake, N.C.; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Harrell & Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
