Tyrone Joyner, 37, of 321 Cedar St., Suffolk, departed this life to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 6, 2004, at Obici Hospital.

He was a native of Suffolk.

He leaves to cherish his memory his father and mother, Garfield Joyner Jr. and Muriel Joyner; three brothers, Garfield Joyner III, Calvin Joyner and Luther Joyner, all of Suffolk; four sisters, Muriel Robinson (Johnnie), Jeanette Hawkins (Alphonso), Adrienne Joyner, and Sade' Samone Joyner, all of Suffolk; three nieces, Brittany Joyner, Kiara Hawkins and Jamia Hawkins; two nephews, Julius Joyner and Jailyn Hawkins; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 12, in St. Paul RZUA Church, 619 Spruce St. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

The viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Thursday in T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home Chapel.
