What is this?
Not impressed by news of advanced bookings
Published Saturday, May 29, 2004
Editor, the News-Herald:
I read with amazement, in Wednesday's edition, that 10 months before completion (nearly one entire year), your tax dollars will be paying the salary and expenses of yet another employee, Jennifer D'Alessandro, director of sales associated with Noble Investment.
You, the taxpayer, can wager Aunt Sally's jewelry that the city is eventually paying the tab with your tax dollars.
This article is nothing other than a poor justification to the fine citizens of Suffolk for yet another position, when every position already has an assistant to the assistant, and how much time does it take to answer the phone to these questionable callers seeking bookings. Ha! Ha! Ha! Way to go, Steve! By the way, how long have you known this new employee and where did she come from? You are really helping the employment factor.
