Murder suspect turns himself in

A Suffolk man wanted for the Aug. 28 shooting death of Rodney L. Faulk turned himself into Portsmouth authorities Wednesday.
Stacy L. Johnson, 27, was charged with murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, discharging a firearm near a school, and possession of a loaded firearm, said Lt. Debbie George, spokeswoman for the Suffolk Police Department.
Police dispatched to the 100 block of Halifax Street on Aug. 28 found Faulk, 28, suffering from a single gunshot wound, George said. He died on the way to Obici Hospital.
