Maurice J. Newby, 49, of Huntsville, passed Monday at Huntsville Hospital. He was a native of Isle of Wight County and son of the late Cleveland James Newby.
The funeral service will begin at noon Saturday at the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Wakefield. The Rev. Leslie L. Holloway Jr. will officiate.
The interment will be in the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery in Ivor. Crocker Funeral Home of Suffolk is handling arrangements.
