Suffolk Police stress bike safety at summer camp

Don Thompson, a sergeant with the Suffolk Police Department, recently talked to summer campers at the Texie Camp Marks Children's Center about bicycle safety. Thompson gave the children information about wearing helmets and closed-toe shoes, rules of the road and checking safety equipment. The Children's Center has locations throughout Western Tidewater, including Suffolk.
