Church Services Resume
St. Mary of the Presentation Church, 202 S Broad St., will now be opened for Mass on Saturday's at 5 p.m. and on Sunday at 9 a.m. Religion classes for 2nd - 6th grades will still be meeting at West End Baptist Church, W. Washington Street.
Bible Study
Suffolk Presbyterian Church, 410 N, Broad St., is offering two mid-week studies in addition to its Christian education curriculum for adults on Sunday mornings. The Rev. William W. Nickels, III is leading a Bible study of the Book of Acts from 10 to 11 a.m. on Mondays at the church. And a spiritual formation class meets at 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays at the church for a group discussion of Living Before God: Deepening Our Sense of the Divine Presence by Ben Campbell Johnson. Both study groups will meet during February and March. Copies of the book for the spiritual formation class may be purchased for $10. Valentine Gala
Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church will hold an Evening of Worship and Fellowship for Valentine's Day, on Saturday, February 11 at 4 p.m. in the Holland Community House. Presented by Women of Vision Ministries, the evening will feature a dinner, games, and music by the Gospel Harmoneers of Ivor. Cost is $25 per couple and $15 for singles. Call 934-8667.

Talithi Cumi’s 2nd Annual Conference, will be Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Windsor School of Dance at noon. The speakers are Evangelist Carol Lyttle, First Lady of Olive Branch Baptist Church, Suffolk, and Elder Tracy Mallory of Christian Charities Deliverance Church, Ivor.
