Edith M. Joyner

Edith M. Joyner, beloved wife of the late Francis M. Joyner and mother of Francis M. Joyner Jr. and Ann Joyner Jackson and the late Moonyeen Joyner Booma, passed away on January 18, 2006, in New Bern, N.C.

Mrs. Joyner, a longtime resident of Windsor, Va., she was born in Wyandotte, Mich., on July 26, 1913. She had most recently been living near her daughter, Ann and son-in-law, Charles Jackson, in New Bern, N.C.

In addition to her son and daughter, she is survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2006, at 11 a.m. in Windsor Cemetery, Windsor.

Friends may join the family at Harrell and Hill Funeral Home Friday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. for visitation.
