Are you looking for a creative outlet this holiday season? Then grab an application for the 2008 Downtown Suffolk Holiday Parade.
This year’s theme is “Christmas on the Nansemond,” and the event is scheduled for 10 a.m. Dec. 13 on West Washington and North Main streets. Floats, dance, step and drill teams, marching bands, equestrian or animal units and motorized units are requested. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top marching bands.
The extended application deadline for the Holiday Parade is Dec. 5. For an application or for more information, call 514-4130.
