Streets closed because of storm

North Main Street will be closed off and on throughout the day in the 700 block because of flooding.
The 2700 block of Nansemond Parkway, in the area of Upton Lane, is closed because of two broken power poles and lines down in the roadway. It is believed that wind caused the damage to the poles. Dominion Power is on scene and has estimated the road could be closed for another two hours. Some school buses will have to take alternate routes.
