Police seeking robbery suspects
Published Thursday, January 29, 2009
Suffolk Police are investigating two robberies in one neighborhood, possibly committed by the same suspects, and are asking for assistance from the public. In both robberies, the victims were robbed at gunpoint in front of their homes.
The first robbery occurred on Friday, Jan. 23, in the 6100 block of Cambridge Drive West. In this incident, the victim had parked his vehicle in his garage when a black male ran up to him, brandished a firearm and demanded money. When the victim told the suspect that he did not have anything, the suspect fired a shot at the victim. The shot missed the victim but struck the side view mirror on the victim’s vehicle. The suspect fled through a playground area behind the victim’s house.
The second robbery occurred on Jan. 26 in the 6200 block of Oakglen Drive. In this case, the victim was going to his vehicle when two suspects ran up the street towards him. One of the suspects was wearing a mask and brandished a handgun.
The victim gave the suspect $20 when he demanded money. Both suspects fled on foot.
The victims gave suspect descriptions to police. The man holding the gun is described as black, between 5’10” and 5’11”, 175 to 190 pounds, and between 17 and 21 years of age. He wore black Vans shoes, baggy jeans, a bulky black jacket, and a black ski mask.
The second suspect is described as a black male, same height and age, 160 to 180 pounds. He wore tennis shoes, blue jeans, a black hoodie with silver stripes down the sleeves, a black baseball hat and no mask.

This isn't an example of racial profiling at all. They were black and known to be black and thought to have done the crime...Sounds pretty simple...Now, on the other hand, you exemplify ignorance, but the article does not show any signs of racial profiling.
