Golfer wins car with an ace at Suffolk G.C.

John Hudgins of Portsmouth made a hole-in-one and won a 2010 Mercury Milan on the ninth hole of Suffolk Golf Course on Saturday, during the Second Annual Knights of Columbus Council 7363 Tournament.

John Hudgins of Portsmouth made a hole-in-one and won a 2010 Mercury Milan on the ninth hole of Suffolk Golf Course on Saturday, during the Second Annual Knights of Columbus Council 7363 Tournament.

John Hudgins of Portsmouth made a hole-in-one and won a 2010 Mercury Milan on the ninth hole of Suffolk Golf Course on Saturday, during the Second Annual Knights of Columbus Council 7363 Tournament.

Hudgins made the ace with a 3-iron on the 165-yard hole. Beach Ford Lincoln Mercury of Suffolk sponsored the tournament and the car for the hole-in-one.

The Second Annual Knights of Columbus Suffolk Council 7363 Tournament, a captains’ choice best-ball format, benefitted KOVAR (Knights of Virginia Assisting God’s Special People) and raised more than $1,800 for KOVAR. Hudgins is a member of Council 418 in Portsmouth.
