Helpless to understand this tragedy

Thursday marked a horrific day in our country’s history as an American soldier shot and killed 12 fellow soldiers and personnel and wounded an additional 30 at Fort Hood, Texas.
The men and women killed Thursday knew their service in our country’s armed forces would put them at risk in combat zones around the world, but never should they feel threatened within the sanctuary of their own bases.
The reasons behind Thursday’s massacre may never truly be known, but the pain and anguish felt by the families of the fallen and injured are just as real, regardless of the reason.
It seems just minutes after the shooting had ended, with the alleged shooter himself lying shot, pundits and critics alike already had begun speculating on what had happened and why it had happened.
Add to that the fact the alleged shooter was someone of the Muslim faith and the speculation by many spiraled out of control.
“Why did he do this?”
“Did anyone know this would happen?”
“Were there warning signs that someone missed?”
As with many tragedies, the human effort to understand what happened is often hindered by the simple fact that some things cannot be defined, cannot be understood.
In many cases we waste far too much time trying to rationalize an irrational. How can you apply logical thought to such an illogical act?
But, what we can do and what we can understand is that the 12 men and women who were killed were killed ruthlessly and with malice. Their lives ended far too early, and they will forever be missed.
As we try to comprehend what happened, we must come to grips that we are helpless in what has happened and understand what we can do.
We can mourn those killed, and we can pray for the quick recovery of those injured. In the end, that is all we can do.

You mean that the fake doctor, the Oprah find and supported by her Dr. Phil and former Iraq War POW Shoshanna Johnson a cook, who never was exposed to actual combat. You mean they didnt explain it enough for the public to understand? I can hear it now from "Dr." Phil: Howz that workin’ for ya?”
"Hasan was first and foremost, deranged". That we have heard in various opinions and used as an excuse. How about this. "No, he is first and foremost a Muslim. He was doing exactly what the Koran teaches."
When someone does evil, he’s always the victim. Guess what? We’ll find none of the hand-wringing in the media and the elites for those 13 dead and 40 plus wounded American GI’s. They are never the victim. Only the monster who shot them down in cold blood deserves our commiseration. Excuse me while I puke.
The one thing I am sure of is no one on the left will hold Hasan responsible for the mayhem he inflicted on Americans. Obama has already warned against “jumping to conclusions.” We’re not allowed to accept what we know to be true because its not politically correct. Such is the zeitgeist of our own time.
And the GIs? Looks like they’re already yesterday’s news. The good and decent among us will have to remember them because the world won’t. But we must never forget that there are other Major Nidal Malik Hasan's out there.
I don’t know what is worse the Muslims who vowed to kill us or the liberals who protect them? I have more respect for Muslims than liberals. At least Muslims will come out and say they will destroy us. The liberals they lie, connive and manipulate to get what they want. Health "control" comes to mind first and foremost.
Catering to political correctness is both juvenile and dangerous. It rarely coincides with reality, with honesty, and with the truth. I’ll choose statistics over fallible human emotion any day. With statistics there is no emotion, no anger, no false pretenses; it simply leads you to the truth. "Truth gives you direction.” And the truth is Nidal Malik Hasan is just the latest of far many more to come."Howz that workin for ya?"

With Veterans Day this week I am going to most likely hear about this. I feel that our military has become a casualty of "political correctness" off and on the battlefield. The Liberals will insist this man be put into a mental hospital. He is the victim, not those who died. The media is pushing this like crazy, placing blame on the military, not where it belongs...on this POS radical Islamist. Our United States media places blame for this on our beloved military. it's disgusting how our heroes are treated by the post mordem media and the likes of Hillary, Murtha, Reid, Kerry and yes Obama.Bill Ayers and his wife must be celebrating this cowardly attack by this Muslim Major POS, I am glad that the UCMJ has the death penalty provision so he can face a firing squad. Life in prison isnt and shouldnt be a option for this towelhead. When found guilty our commander in chief Barrack Hussein Obama is the only person who can grant an appeal of that sentance. There is something for all of us to think about.
Every Muslim that is here in the states who are speaking out in mosque's,in public against the country and our citizens, should be declared a security risk and be deported back to the 6th century country they came from. Hows that for political correctness....

His words not mine. Fact that cant be denied but there always is someone or some group who denies fact and history. Spin it anyway you think you can and dont say taken out of content. He speaks with passion and conviction on Islam thus that arguement is as dead as the 13 murdered by a MUSLIM TERRORIST.

This piece of crap needs to be decapitated in public and then his worthless body dragged thru the streets to send a message that the American people will not stand for anymore. 9-11 was predicted years ago and the government turned a blind eye...It is time that the government opens their eyes and realizes our current governing body is not "squeaky clean" and BamaRama needs to go!
