FOX News stands up to the president

Published Thursday, October 29, 2009

Instead of fulfilling empty promises made by the president over the course of his campaign and election, the White House has decided to put its time and effort into fighting a battle against its most deadly and dangerous opponent.

Armed with facts and unashamed to fight against the President with his own personal words and the truth, FOX news has proved to be the one media outlet that has not been hypnotized by the smooth-talking head in a suit.

The White House has tried to get people and other news stations to not follow FOX news, saying that it “is not a news organization” and by continually refusing to provide White House officials or statements to FOX News.

Why does the White House have such a problem with a network that millions of Americans watch daily? Yes, they have people that go against the President and disagree with his opinions and ideas, but in retrospect, these same news anchors disagreed with many of George W. Bush’s plans and actions.

The way I see it, CNN had its fair share of liberal bobbleheads that the Bush administration still had to work with. I cannot even fathom the opposition that he would have faced if he had tried to tell the country that a network with different opinions from his was wrong.

Luckily, Fox is not standing alone. Fellow anchors on ABC and CNN are picking up on this, and they all seem to share one common thought: that the treatment of FOX News is wrong.

It is truly scary to think that one man in control of a country can go against a network just because the network disagrees with him. Wasn’t our country founded upon the ability to have differences and debates?

This childish battle of Obama v. FOX has got to end if he has any chance of getting the nation to unite, which was his original plan, anyway. Let’s remember, he still has quite a bit of time left in office, to my dismay.

So come on Obama, get your act together. And for those of us Republicans left in the world, Fox News is not just a news channel but the source of the brightest political minds that our country has to offer. You can bet I will be a faithful fan and supporter for my news team.

Mr. President, what ever happened to free speech?

There is no inherent violation of anyone's rights in calling a horsethief a horsethief. Bush should have done it, McCain should have done it, and I, for one, will not bitch, whine, and scream "censorship" just because it is the other side that finally got the message. Im glad that Fox is around Dont forget that GE owns NBC and MSNBC and they own Obama. My point is that all of them make mistakes and sometimes show their bias. But only FOX, the lone right of center outlet is bashed for it.
The larger issue is that Obama is acting, imo, very unpresidential in allowing his adminstration cronies in picking this fight with a network. He isnt a leader, he is a follower and is a sock puttet for Soros and other liberals. It smacks of an inability to deal with criticism, and there are far more important issues for a president to be dealing with.
And we know that narcissists don't deal with criticism well.
When looking at the Fox nightly schedule of shows, the news division I like but O'reilly needs to stop talking over. Hannity Said if God told him to run for the WH he would, sorry I dont go for anyone who wears his beliefs on his sleeve. That was the begining of Bush' trbl with the media. Not being anti christian just its a personal thing. Im sick of hearing abt Regan. He is DEAD and there isnt another one around like him. Hannity worships him as if he was a god. sorry he did nothing when 272 Marines were murdered in their sleep, we up and ran away. Greta..enjoy her style. Beck asks the questions no one will but his emotions I dont care for. Read one of his books and you have to question did he write this? His emotions arent in the book.Fox isnt all that but compared to the liberal post mordeum press it does give another perspective.Walter Cronkite started this opinionated version of news. If i want to hear a religious perspective on a topic or news story I will tune in one of those bozo's networks or shows.I dont want to see or hear them on Hannity or anyone else's show expressing their views Billy Graham never expressed his opinion publicly that i can remember, but if a presidnt wanted to speak with him fine by me. Its behind closed doors and its personal just dont come out publicly with an opinion and say after meeting with so and so I think this or that.It could be the beginning of what Bush went thru. My remote cant take it anymore.
