What is this?
Fox simply isn’t balanced
Published Saturday, October 31, 2009
In reference to Meghan Brinkley in Saturday's paper. I am and always have been an independent.
Back in the 50's and 60's when the majority of Suffolk and Nansemond County were Democratic, I remained Independent and voted for the man and not the party.
Even all of the Constitutional Officers were then Democratic but have now become independent.
I have voted for some Republicans over the years. I think Rep. Randy Forbes is good for our 4th District and will continue to vote for him.
Now, back to Fox. Several years ago, I enjoyed listening to Hannity and Combs as they gave both sides of a question. But, now that Hannity has gotten too far Republican, even Combs left the program.
I did once like the investigative reporting of Glen Beck, but now, he has also turned hard nose Republican. Maybe it’s the ownership of Fox News.
I think that after Jan. 20th, all should support the President and the losing party should spend their time looking for a better man for 2012, if they can find one.

The MSM could reach more subscribers to their message if they placed fliers under windshield wipers.

Fox is the only station that doesn't suck up to this administration and fawn over their every movement. I don't ALWAYS agree with Fox's opinions, but I am convinced that they can be trusted to present the facts of the news. For many years, my family did not have cable and I never realized how out of the loop I was by just watching the network news. The liberal press criticized President Bush at every turn, yet they can't praise Obama enough. Turn about is fair play, but the democrats can't take the criticism. Well, give them a pacifier because, if Obama and his people can't take the heat, then they should have stayed out of the kitchen.

OK, so that must be why Fox's viewership is almost twice that of CNN, MSNBC, or any of the cable "news" channels.
The "liberal media" simply cannot compete in the market of ideas. Nobody's buying. They have to be propped up by wealthy donors, like the George Soros' of the world, to even remain in business. Anyone remember Air America? Meanwhile, conservative media has dozens of successful, self-sustaining radio and TV shows.
People vote with their dollars and with their viewership. People are not stupid--they can see what the liberal media is doing, and are flocking to FOX for news they can believe in.

One has to ponder...why do left leaning radio talkshows fail. Why does Fox enjoy great ratings? Perhaps, it is because of all the leftwing bias being pumped out of the other networks?
Write a commentary targeting Fox as being biased and not include MSNBC????...
Anyone taken a look at the visitor list to the white house lately?
Check it out....I assure you, it won't be broadcasted by MSNBC, CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC etc, etc.....
