Suspect arrested in IHOP burglary
Published Wednesday, September 30, 2009
Numerous calls to the Crime Line helped nab a suspect in the Tuesday burglary of the IHOP restaurant in Suffolk.
Justin Cody Beale, 18, of the 1500 block of Bellevue Road in Elberon (between Surry and Wakefield) was arrested Wednesday and charged with one count of business burglary and one count of grant larceny. A photo of the suspect captured on surveillance video was distributed in media outlets throughout Hampton Roads, and resulted in the Crime Line calls, city spokeswoman Debbie George said.
The burglary occurred just after 5 a.m. Tuesday at the eatery, located in the 1200 block of North Main Street. The suspect can be seen in the video breaking glass to get inside a locked office. Once inside, he took a safe containing several hundred dollars, George said. The restaurant was closed at the time.

He probably thought he was on PUNK'D expecting Ashton to come to his rescue. This is one dumb crook. Wonder what attorney will raise the insanity plea on this case. Let us hope that Parker does not hear this case or he will sentence this thug to work off his fines at Walmart counting money in the back office..

I bet he think he just made his family proud ... lol. How embarrassing. This should be submitted to "America's Most Dumbest Criminal" Video Archive. That was one way to put "Surprising Suffolk" on the map! lol. Do ya'll think he could fix the clocks? lol ... just kidding

Lishone.....I heard he stole the money to pay someone to come fix the clocks! lol I was late getting back to work from lunch yesterday because I had no clue what time it was in Suffolk! Someone really does need to do something about the clocks. It's having a Neg impact on the citizens of Suffolk!

Yep this negative impact is causing me to keep hearing the theme from the The Twighlight Zone, its a time warp thing, "beam me up Scotty"
But it could be flashbacks from the 60's, Woodstock, bongs and most fitting the Strawberry Alarm Clock...

I ask you this.....what are we going to do about the clocks?

well, if it's 5:00 somewhere, why not put a sign under each clock that indicates that it is this time somewhere?
